1 c. butter
1/2 c powdered sugar
2 c flour
1 c chopped nuts
1 t vanilla

Cream butter well. Add other ingredients; mix well. Shape dough into cookie rolls about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) for about 20 minutes. Watch closely for doneness. Roll in powdered sugar when the cookies are cool enough to handle.
